For many people creating a Will is usually not at the top of their list of priorities. Making a will can be a challenge, and some people find it a little daunting. The fact is that everyone should have a current and legally binding Will. Dying without a will leaves a great deal of uncertainty as to who can make a claim on your estate.

At RJI Legal we can make the process easy for you. Our lawyers will discuss in detail how best your assets should be allocated, taking into account your own personal situation.

We can also assist in terms of structuring your assets to minimise tax implications for your beneficiaries and to minimise the risk of any potential claim against your estate.

If you are appointed an executor of a Will, we can assist you with administering the deceased’s estate according to their wishes.

Normally, a grant of Probate is required from the Supreme Court before an executor can access all the assets of the deceased person and deal with them in accordance with the Will.

At RJI Legal, our lawyers can guide you through the process as easily and painlessly as possible. It can be a privilege to left executor of the Will, but unless the right advice it can become a nightmare.
